Here, beneath the pale moon and the shadow of Mount Fuji, a woman is lifted in passion — her lacquered black geta (wooden clogs) gleaming as symbols of elegance and restraint amid abandon.  The muted tones of the setting are balanced by the subtle strength of Senju’s linework — this new edition rendered with stronger color, deeper contrast, and refined contour detail, heightening the tactile and emotional tension within the scene.
