Authentic original Edo period, c.1860, Japanese erotic art shunga woodblock print picture book by an artist of the Utagawa School.  Shunga book measures  17.5 cm x 15.5 cm closed. 
 
Excellent colors and impressions!  Condition is very good with some light wear and soiling, while three scenes in the book show some black ink stains.  Please see and judge from photos.
 
There are 20 total picture pages with the majority of the pages showing multiple shunga scenes.  Two of the scenes are homoerotic, which is quite rare and difficult to come by in the shunga genre.  Both of those scenes are featured above with close-ups and are shown at the beginning (the first four photos shown).  Fold-open, accordion-style book.
