Authentic Edo period original, 1854, Japanese erotic art DELUXE shunga woodblock print picture by Koikawa Shozan (1821-1907).  From his shunga series, Shaka hassho zoku yamato bunko, published and dated 1854.  Shunga picture measures 22.3 cm x 22.9 cm.  Excellent colors and impressions! Also some deluxe printing techniques such as gauffrage, urushi-e, which is a type of black lacquer, and mica (metallic pigments).  Condition is very good with some light wear and soiling, most notably at bottom left border.  Please see and judge from photos. 
 
A very rare and majestic homoerotic nanshoku shunga scene with a male client engaged in anal intercourse with his kagema (young male sex worker) onnagata (female impersonator).  The client pulls tightly on his young companion for deeper penetration, while the kagema youth seems entranced by the Japanese goddess playing a small drum and hovering in the blue sky during their outdoor encounter.
