RARE - 1800 - Buddhist Hell & Demons - Picture Book Set
Title: 700 Jigoku Gokuraku-zu and Ojo Yojushu. (In English, it roughly translates to 700 Pictures of Hell and Paradise. The term "Jigoku" means "Hell" in Japanese, and "Gokuraku" means "Paradise" or "Pure Land." The "-zu" suffix at the end of the word "Gokuraku" indicates that it is a picture or illustration book. So, the title suggests that the book contains 700 illustrations related to Buddhist concepts of Hell and Paradise.)
