Original latter Edo Period Japanese Hand-Painted Hanging Scroll (Kakejiku), c.1840-1850

Artist:  Fujita Mizuho who was a painter and also a doctor.  No one knows his exact date of birth nor his time of death, but he is known to have lived during the Edo Period, while most of his works were produced during the latter Edo P. stages.  He also went by the aliases Koshiro and Yoshikage.  He was active in Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.

Date:  from the Edo Period, c.1840-1850

Description: 100% Japanese genuine & authentic original kakejiku (hanging scroll - this is not a print nor machine copy).  Fantastic hand-painted sky dragon artwork on blue paper backing with a wooden bottom portion.

Condition is decent+ for its age with some wear here and there, but overall a very nice-looking, original old dragon painting on some attractive blue backing, which complements the shadowy somberness of the artwork.  Please see and judge from photos.
