Description: 100% Japanese genuine & authentic original dragon tatoo woodblock print picture from 1858. Great colors and excellent impressions! Condition is good with some light wear, horizontal crease line going across his chin and one pinhole near it. As you can see from the photos provided, the crease line is only visible in a certain light. My camera wasn't able to pick up the fold line, but the scanner was. On the reverse side, about 1 cm of white paper backing at the very top of the picture. Please see and judge from photos.
Size of woodblock print picture: 25.3 cm x 37.5 (Oban size)
A very rare and superb original dragon tattoo woodblock print picture from 1858 Japan. There are actually two dragons visible on his body, along with the skull motif robes, making it a wonderfully powerful & bold piece of antique artwork. Would look absolutely magnificent framed!
