Authentic Meiji period original, c.1870 -1880, Japanese erotic art shunga woodblock print picture by a member of the Utagawa School.  Shunga picture measures 4.2 cm x 17.8 cm.  Excellent colors and impressions, as well some deluxe printing techniques such as a beautiful and rich gold mica (metallic pigments) for the moon and night sky, and pronounced embossing!  Condition is very good with minimal wear; just a couple tiny creases.  No backing.  The reverse actually has an erotic Japanese poem written on it, which is part of this shunga set theme.  Please see and judge from photos.
 
An excellent antique Japanese erotic art shunga picture of a couple eagerly engaged with one another under a full moon at night.  Their belongings lie dumped and scattered on the ground meanwhile, emphasizing their impatient restlessness.
